Howard Leonhardt serves as an Advisory Board member for Cell Therapy Foundation. Howard is the co-founder of Bioheart and has served as their Chairman of the Board since August 1999. He is currently serving as Bioheart's Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Bioheart, Howard founded World Medical Manufacturing Corporation which was acquired by Arterial Vascular Engineering, Inc., (AVE). AVE was later acquired by Medtronic, Inc. Howard is the co-inventor of TALENT (Taheri-Leonhardt) stent graft system, the primary product of World Medical Manufacturing Corporation.
